Luka Elsner (born 2 August 1982 in Ljubljana) is a former Slovenian footballer, who is currently assistant manager at NK Domžale.
Career
Growing up in France, he began his career at OGC Nice, where he was part of the youth set-up. Later he played for US Cagnes. In 2004 he joined NK Domžale. He holds the club record for competitive appearances.
International career
He made his international debut for Slovenia on 26 May 2008 at Ullevi, Gothenburg, in a friendly match match against Sweden.
Personal
His grandfather is Branko Elsner, former footballer and manager, his father is Marko Elsner, former footballer and 1984 Summer Olympics medal winner with Yugoslavia. His younger brother, Rok Elsner currently plays for Polish side Śląsk Wrocław.
